Apocalypse Now- Meservey
Apocalypse Now was a movie I had heard of but never seen. It sparked an interesting internal dialogue within myself in how it was sublime. It was tough to watch and at some points it was emotional and scary. I wouldn't consider it to be beautiful, I would consider it to be the opposite. It was dark, dirty, and scary. It evoked a sense of unease, yet I couldn't look away. I would consider it to be an aesthetic experience, however. There was beauty and calm mixed in with the panic and heartbreak of war.
