Plato Erin Woodbridge
These excerpts of Plato's Symposium were read towards the beginning of the semester, and I remember still not knowing much about how to read or determine what philosophical writing was really trying to get across. When I did read this through for the first time, I really did not fully understand what I was reading, but that did not make it any less beautiful to read. As my knowledge of philosophy grew and flourished I went back to these excerpts and realized that I was taking away so much more than I had in the past.
